This summer, I opened up my credit card bill to find an important message on my statement:
I thought this to be a really good idea, because I usually just throw out the envelope every month along with any other non-statement items that come in the package. But lo and behold as I take the rest of the items out of the original envelope, I find a payment return envelope.
I figure this was ok, maybe it would take a month for them to catch on that they told me this.
One month later, I excitedly opened up my Credit Card statement to find the statement saying I owed lots of money (which I wasn't excited for), and another payment return envelope.
Something's been lost in translation, or they're not doing a very good job of keeping up on their commitment to reduce their Environmental Footprint.
I'll probably call them to help them remember to keep their promise.
